Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Director of Billing to oversee a team of billers and ensure strong collections performance across high-value dialysis accounts. This role requires deep ownership, leadership, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for managing performance, improving processes, and ensuring the business consistently delivers on its core function: getting clients paid.

Requirements

• Proven experience in medical billing / accounts receivable
• Experience managing or overseeing a team
• Strong understanding of collections and revenue cycle processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee billing and collections across assigned accounts

• Manage and mentor a team of billers

• Monitor KPIs and ensure performance targets are met
• Identify inefficiencies and improve processes
• Handle escalations and complex billing issues
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely collections
• Take full ownership of financial outcomes within your team
