OPWDD Coordinator (Entry-Level)

$28–$29/hour – full training provided.

Based in Five Towns (until Queens office opens)

Company Overview

A large organization supporting individuals with special needs is seeking to add Coordinators to its growing team. The company provides community-based services and support, helping clients manage care, staffing, and daily needs.

Position Overview

We are hiring a Coordinator to manage and oversee services for assigned clients. This role serves as the main point of contact between clients, families, and service providers, ensuring all services are running smoothly.

This is an entry-level position with full training provided.

The Ideal Candidate

• Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate services for clients (e.g., ComHab, Respite)
• Act as liaison between clients, families, care managers, and brokers
• Oversee and track client budgets
• Process timesheets and assist with payroll issues
• Monitor staff assigned to clients and ensure proper service delivery
• Handle day-to-day coordination and administrative responsibilities

Compensation & Schedule

• $28–$29/hour
• Full-time (approx. 37 hours/week)
• Includes structured training period
