Position Overview
An ABA organization is seeking a hands-on Director of Recruitment to lead and manage an internal team of 7–8 recruiters.
This role is operational leadership. The person in this role is accountable for recruiting execution, team productivity, and consistent hiring outcomes. Travel may be required to support hiring operations, onsite hiring initiatives, and internal staffing needs across locations.
The ideal candidate is a strong people-manager who drives performance, improves processes, and ensures roles are filled efficiently and consistently.
The Ideal Candidate
Experienced leading recruiters in a high-volume environment
Highly organized, structured, and metrics-driven
Comfortable stepping in to assist difficult searches when needed
Clear communicator who enforces accountability while supporting the team
Open to occasional travel to support hiring operations
Focused on execution, not strategy or sales
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coach a team of 7–8 recruiters
Set weekly/monthly hiring targets and track performance
Monitor pipeline health, activity levels, and conversion metrics
Step in to help close roles or troubleshoot challenging searches
Standardize recruiting processes and improve workflow efficiency
Partner with hiring managers to prioritize staffing needs
Travel as needed for hiring support, onboarding initiatives, or onsite recruiting needs
Train recruiters and maintain consistent hiring practices
Own hiring outcomes across departments
Qualifications & Must-Haves
4+ years recruiting experience, including 2+ years managing recruiters
Strong high-volume, full-cycle recruiting background
Proven track record holding teams accountable to goals
Familiarity with ATS systems and reporting metrics
Healthcare / ABA / home care experience preferred
Willingness to travel periodically for hiring support
