Company & Position Overview
Established ABA healthcare organization is seeking a Controller to oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with the CFO, focused on managing the accounting function, ensuring accurate financials, and building structure across reporting and processes.
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong background in accounting in healthcare
- Hands-on operator who can manage and execute
- Detail-oriented with strong financial oversight
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with systems
- Understands how finance supports operations
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations and financial reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end close
- Supervise accounting staff and ensure team performance
- Maintain accurate financial statements and general ledger
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Improve processes, controls, and reporting systems
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Prior Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager experience
- Healthcare industry experience required
- Experience managing a team
