About the Role

A growing healthcare organization is seeking a sharp, confident, and highly responsible Compliance Officer to join its QA & Compliance team, helping ensure the organization meets healthcare regulations, maintains proper documentation, and follows required procedures.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can learn the full compliance process from beginning to end and take ownership of making sure it is properly implemented across the organization.

You will be trained directly by the organization’s Senior Compliance Officer on regulatory requirements, chart auditing, incident reporting, and compliance procedures. The right person will have the opportunity to grow into a Compliance Director role.

• Strong and confident and not easily pushed around
• Smart and quick to learn, with the ability to figure things out independently
• Healthcare experienced and familiar with clinical documentation, patients, providers, and healthcare operations
• Detail-oriented and able to catch issues before they become bigger problems
• A strong communicator who can hold people accountable while maintaining good relationships
• Proactive and comfortable taking ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
• Tech-savvy and comfortable working with systems, dashboards, and data
• Serious, dependable, and willing to learn

Experience

Healthcare experience is required. Prior compliance experience is preferred, but not required.

We are especially interested in candidates with experience in:

• Healthcare compliance or quality assurance
• Behavioral health or clinical operations
• Chart auditing or documentation review
• Medical records
• Healthcare administration or regulatory work

Candidates coming from another area of healthcare will absolutely be considered if they have strong healthcare knowledge, good judgment, and the ability to learn and take ownership.

This is a full-time in-office role.
