About the Role

We are seeking a Report Writer / Reporting Analyst to manage reporting requests across the organization. This role will work directly with internal teams to understand their needs, write SQL queries, build accurate reports, and ensure data is clearly defined and reliable.

You’ll join a small team with significant autonomy and direct interaction with the people using your reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage reporting requests from start to finish, including clarifying requirements, writing SQL, validating data, and delivering reports

• Write complex SQL queries using joins, aggregations, CTEs, and window functions

• Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards

• Validate and reconcile data before reports are distributed

• Work with non-technical users to understand what information they actually need

• Document report definitions to ensure consistency and accuracy

• Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and improve self-service reporting

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to validate data independently

• Strong communication skills and ability to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders

• Comfortable working independently and managing changing priorities

• Strong written communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with IBM Cognos Analytics / Report Studio

• Healthcare or regulated-data experience

• Familiarity with data warehouses, EHR systems, Python, Git, or dbt

• Experience automating or improving recurring reporting processes
