Position Overview
A growing, multi-state healthcare organization is seeking a highly organized and operations-driven Director of HR Operations to oversee daily HR functions, streamline workflows, and ensure efficient execution of HR processes across multiple locations.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who excels at building systems, managing teams, improving processes, and ensuring accountability across departments.
The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader who can manage multiple moving parts, identify inefficiencies, and create structure within a fast-paced, growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day HR operations across multiple states, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and efficiency.
Lead and supervise HR Generalists, the Office Manager, and recruitment operations.
Manage the full employee onboarding and offboarding process, including documentation, HRIS updates, background checks, and employee transitions.
Develop, implement, and optimize HR workflows, systems, and operational procedures.
Oversee recruitment operations, monitor hiring metrics, and ensure staffing processes run efficiently.
Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, and operational documentation.
Manage company device tracking, distribution, and returns in coordination with IT.
Oversee office administration and ensure smooth execution of daily administrative functions.
Address routine employee relations matters and support managers with performance documentation.
Conduct operational audits to ensure established policies and procedures are consistently followed.
Collaborate closely with HR Compliance, Recruiting, Finance, Credentialing, and Operations to maintain efficient workflows.
Qualifications
Proven experience leading HR operations, workflow management, or similar operational functions.
Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and drive accountability.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing onboarding, offboarding, HRIS systems, and employee documentation.
Ability to identify operational gaps, implement improvements, and build scalable processes.
Experience overseeing recruitment operations strongly preferred.
Familiarity with Monday.com, CentralReach, Viventium, or similar systems is a plus.
Healthcare or behavioral health industry experience preferred.
Experience supporting multi-location or multi-state operations is a plus.
