Position Overview

A growing accounting firm is seeking an Audit Accountant to support audit, review, and compilation engagements, prepare Form 990s, and ensure timely reporting and client compliance with bank and grantor requirements. Reporting to the Senior Audit Manager and Audit Partner, this role offers hands-on experience across nonprofit and other client engagements.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 2+ years of audit experience, including nonprofit clients

• Strong understanding of auditing, attestation, and Single Audit processes

• Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks

• Familiarity with AI tools

• CPA preferred, but not required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform audit, review, and compilation engagements.

• Prepare Form 990s and supporting documentation.

• Ensure timely completion and reporting across engagements.

• Support client compliance with bank, grantor, and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with team members and maintain strong client relationships.
