The organization provides mental health services, peer support, and other behavioral health programs. We’re looking for someone who knows how to get out into the community, build relationships, open doors, and turn those connections into consistent patient referrals.
This is a field-based sales role for someone who is comfortable walking into churches, hospitals, community organizations, and healthcare facilities, connecting with decision-makers, and creating opportunities.
The right person is personable, persistent, resourceful, and results-driven—someone who genuinely enjoys meeting people and knows how to turn relationships into business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop referral relationships with churches, hospitals, healthcare providers, and community organizations
Actively visit potential referral sources to introduce the organization’s mental health and peer support services
Identify new outreach opportunities and build a consistent referral pipeline
Maintain strong relationships with existing referral partners
Educate community leaders and healthcare professionals about available programs and services
Attend community events, networking opportunities, and outreach meetings
Follow up consistently with referral sources and track outreach activity and results
Work closely with intake and clinical teams to ensure smooth referral coordination
Meet patient referral and growth targets while maintaining ethical referral practices
Ideal Candidate
Strong sales, business development, or community outreach experience
Outgoing, confident, and comfortable approaching new people
Proven ability to build relationships and generate referrals
Self-motivated, persistent, and comfortable working independently in the field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong follow-through and organizational skills
Experience in behavioral health, mental health, healthcare outreach, or community services is a plus
Established relationships with hospitals, churches, healthcare providers, or community organizations are a strong advantage
Results-driven with a genuine interest in helping people access needed services
We’re looking for a natural relationship-builder who can open doors, earn trust, and turn community connections into real growth.
