Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to oversee social media campaigns, manage content distribution, and strengthen the online presence of a growing organization serving children and families.

This is a hands-on role requiring someone who understands social media trends, algorithms, engagement strategies, and how to effectively promote programs and events across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather content from multiple locations,

• Manage Instagram, WhatsApp Status, and potentially additional social media platforms.

• Plan, schedule, and publish engaging social media posts and campaigns.

• Promote upcoming events, activities, and programs based on the organization’s calendar.

• Monitor social media analytics, engagement, and campaign performance to optimize results.

• Stay current with social media algorithms, trends, and best practices to maximize reach and visibility.

• Ensure that only children with appropriate photo and media consent are featured in published content.

• Coordinate with staff across locations to gather relevant content and updates.

• Maintain a consistent and professional brand presence across all platforms.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience managing social media accounts and campaigns.

• Strong understanding of Instagram, WhatsApp Status, social media algorithms, and engagement strategies.

• Experience analyzing social media performance and optimizing campaigns.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage content across multiple locations.

• Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Content creation experience, including photography, videography, or graphic design, is a plus.

• Ability to work on-site in Lakewood, NJ.
