Position Overview
An established real estate development and management company is seeking a Construction Site Manager to oversee daily construction activities and ensure work is progressing properly on-site. This hands-on role requires practical construction experience, the ability to read construction drawings, and a basic understanding of construction safety and field operations. Working under the Senior Construction Site Manager, the ideal candidate is reliable, responsible, and attentive to detail, with the ability to monitor work, communicate issues, and ensure daily expectations are followed.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily construction activities within assigned areas of the site.
Monitor work progress and ensure construction teams follow project plans and instructions.
Review construction drawings to understand work requirements and identify discrepancies.
Maintain awareness of on-site safety practices and ensure established procedures are followed.
Identify construction issues and communicate them promptly to the Senior Construction Site Manager.
Coordinate with on-site teams to support smooth daily operations.
Provide clear updates on construction progress, challenges, and outstanding items.
Follow through on assigned responsibilities and ensure work is completed as directed.
Qualifications
Construction experience required; background in interior construction or fit-outs is also acceptable.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
Basic knowledge of construction site safety practices.
Familiarity with construction terminology and daily field operations.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Reliable, responsible, and attentive to detail.
Ability to work independently within assigned responsibilities while following direction from senior management.
Proactive, hands-on, and committed to consistent follow-through.
