Director of Operations / Integrator
Brooklyn, NY – On-Site
$180K
Overview
A growing wholesale supply company is looking for a second-in-command who wants to help build the company, not simply run it. This role will focus on creating structure, implementing systems, establishing accountability, and bringing clarity to how the business operates.
The right person will take what is currently informal and undefined and turn it into a clear, organized, and scalable operation — defining responsibilities, establishing expectations, creating processes, and developing the leadership structure needed for the company’s continued growth.
This is a unique opportunity for a strong operator to help shape not only how the company runs, but how the team works together — fostering a culture of teamwork, positivity, accountability, and ownership.
This is a newly created role, offering a significant opportunity to build the infrastructure from the ground up, shape how the company operates, and make a lasting impact on its growth and culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership and oversight across the organization
- Create and implement the systems, processes, and procedures the company currently lacks
- Clearly define roles, responsibilities, expectations, and accountability across the organization
- Establish structure and consistency so employees understand what is expected of them and how their work connects to the broader business
- Create a framework for tracking goals, performance, and accountability
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement improvements
- Build and strengthen the leadership layer through internal development and strategic hiring
- Develop leaders and team members through clear expectations, coaching, accountability, and ongoing performance management
- Foster a culture of teamwork, positivity, communication, and mutual accountability
- Create an environment where people take ownership, work collaboratively, and are motivated to perform at a high level
- Build the organizational foundation needed to support sustainable growth and scalability
- Help drive the company’s next phase of growth once the foundational structure is in place
Qualifications
- Proven track record of building structure, systems, and accountability from the ground up
- Experience taking an organization or department from an informal or loosely structured environment to a more organized, scalable operation
- Strong decision-making ability with a history of taking ownership and driving results
- Highly systems- and process-oriented, with the ability to create practical processes where none currently exist
- Strong communicator who can bring clarity to roles, expectations, priorities, and performance
- Leadership style built on clarity, accountability, collaboration, and positivity
- Able to develop people, build strong teams, and create a culture where employees want to contribute and succeed
- Strategic and resourceful thinker who can identify problems, develop solutions, and turn ideas into action
- Highly autonomous with strong follow-through and the ability to operate effectively without constant oversight
- Familiarity with EOS or a similar operating system is a strong plus
- Wholesale or distribution experience is a plus, but not required for the right operator
