Position Overview:
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to manage the full accounting cycle for a healthcare organization. This role requires someone who can take ownership of AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and reconciliations, while supporting annual audits. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle accounting for a healthcare organization
Oversee accounts payable and ensure accurate expense coding
Monitor accounts receivable and collections
Process and review payroll
Post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with month-end close
Prepare documentation and schedules for annual audits
Qualifications:
2+ years of accounting experience
Strong Excel skills
Experience with GL, reconciliations, AP, and AR
Ability to manage multiple entities independently
Detail-oriented and accountable
